Got it. Media player with lots of shortcomings and all kinds of BS strings attached... but you can brag about owning one to your friends. Glad we cleared that one up.

This is EXACTLY what i love about pins.  All this other sh!t will be worth didlely in a 6 months time, and I could care less about any of it, but the pins will keep their value, and likely increase.

I dread the days when my company sends me another phone to upgrade too.

But despite these shortcomings it's still by far the best smart phone out there. That says something.

You couldn't give me one for free. I don't like the notion of corporate big brother keeping tabs on necro's music collection let alone any of my other interests or spending habits.

Call me paranoid but I wouldn't be half surprised to find Safari dials home telling the mothership precisely what good old Warren is looking at. It's the Apple philosophy, control.

i loves me some apple products... just not their computers!

apple wireless keyboard on my home theater pc, iphone, ipod touch and Ipad....

I am a former apple maniac who grew to hate their computer division....

The whole "must use Itunes" thing pisses me off, but like most people i just switched to itunes for everything

i gotta say, for the money, their wireless keyboard blows away every one i tried for my HTPC for the past 8 years,  and does it for less!

Just gotta get windows 7 a little better blu-ray support/recognition

The whole process of connecting your computer hardwired to your home theatre system is under change. If you look at DLNA and Sibeam which are new to the market your screen need not be connected to your laptop. Media is streamed wirelessly to tv's that support the technology. Basically it reduces your hardware requirement to working directly off the laptop wherever it may be in you home. No need to have wireless keyboards, HDMI connections etc. if your able to transmit from the laptop itself.

Right now I use the XBox360 as a media streamer through Media Centre but in the near future streamers will be incorporated in TV's. The same thing can currently be done with a hardware streamer like this one.

Apple with it's strong licensing policies will likely miss the mark with the new technology by 5 years. Once they have been able to figure out how to exercise control over it and force you to purchase content from them, they will re-brand it as the new version of sliced bread and tell you how innovative Apple is to include the feature. My guess is it will be packaged in white initially with color options forthcoming down the road once white is no longer in vogue to possess.

Disagree! I have an iPhone and have learned that I can live without 99.9% of the apps. However, since I surf with it a lot, I cannot live without FLASH. Their preventing Flash from running on an iPhone is ridiculous!

I dont want to jailbreak my phone so when it fucks up they can tell me to f*** off.

My next phone will be the Blackberry Torch. It has everything I want; the whole front is a display for surfing, the option of using the slideout keypad and not having the whole display blocked while I type, removable memory and battery, and I can pin other Blackberry users and basically get text messaging for free.

PS- I DO have stock in RIM.

Ten SS games...but 8 is my limit!

I love how die hard iSupporters feel the need to defend the product line to justify the inflated prices they pay. Yes Apple products are good. Yes they are over priced.

Current Lineup:
Black Knight, Riverboat Gambler, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Flintstones, Orbitor 1, Wipe Out, Breakshot, The Simpsons Pinball Party, Fish Tales, Eight Ball and a 60 in 1 Cocktail.

Yea I find that the be the funniest part, most apples users sound like they would be ready to take up arms for the apple revolution if Steve Jobs told them to.

News Flash Apple users, Apple doesn't give two shits about you, so why do you care so much about defending them?  Your nothing more then a consumer heaping wads of cash in their direction and to think apple needs defending is just silly.

You don't get it, I'm defending myself against perceived personal attacks. You're talking like I'm a mindless zombie, so I try to prove that I'm not by justifying my purchase. I just shouldn't take the bait though.

Step 1) Say stupid mess about apple products and their users
Step 2) Apple users defend their use of the products
Step 3) Insult Apple users for defending their use of Apple products

This has been very productive!
