Hey all,

I recently purchased an Eight Ball Champ which has a hinged backglass. Other pins like Cybernaut and EBD Midway edition (exactly like the one for sale right now) have the same set-up.

My bottom rail is broken. I was wondering if anyone knew where the heck I could find this? I have looked for a while and have found nothing.

Please let me know if you know where I can purchase one. I am currently looking into fabricating one myself out of aluminum, but I rather get a new original one made of plastic if I can.

Thanks!!

Sparky

Do you have a photo of what you're looking for? I have some Bally lift channels, but I'm not sure this is what you are looking for.

It'll be hard for Sparkster to give you a picture since it's missing but it's not a lift channel.  It's a plastic bracket that hold the glass attached to the hinged door and would be screwed in.  The glass is not easily removable (doesn't lift out).

Here is a pic that Machine Slave put up of his EBD project. The rail holds the BG in place, and is screwed into the backpanel which holds the bulbs. To remove the BG, you must open the door, and slide it out from the side. My rail broke clean at the bottom, so it no longer wraps around the bottom of the glass to hold it in place. I was thinking of getting a regular metal bottom rail and riveting it to the existing plastic, but I rather make it original...I will take a pic of my machine tonight. My top rail is fine, bottom one should be the same part.
