My TZ is gone! Sold! To a nice enough guy who drove up from CT.

There is a big (dusty) spot where it used to sit. I actually stopped playing it a few days ago once I knew it was sold. Anybody else do this? It's kind of like a "not speaking to the dead" kinda thing.

Should be a few weeks until my new pins arrive. Some really nice stuff, dont think I'll miss the TZ that much.

I will however have to buy a nicer TZ whenever I get a bigger place.

I am currently pin-less though for the first time since I started collecting ... gives me more time to ... read .... and .... stuff .... i guess.

I usually stop playing a sold pin as well because... it is exactly that last game that breaks something !

So what are those new pins ? Found a Monster Bash, and what else ?

So what is everyone buying to replace what they have sold?

I will soon be the proud owner of an MB and our own takochef's CV.

Exciting times ahead.

Did Takochef put that CV together or are you getting the pieces? Last I heard it was still apart. I saw pics of the playfield and it looks amazing. Bill Davis does some great work.

BTW, you won't be disappointed with either game in terms of game play. I really enjoy my CV and love MB now that I have had some serious time on it.

Enjoy!

All the peices are there... it appears all the discouraging problems with machine can be traced to U3 (ULN2803) on the power driver board. so once the elusive chip arrives in mtl knock on wood the game will be 100% functional.

Holy crap, man!!! You have been waiting so many YEARS to get that game together and you sell it before even playing your first game? Wow! I am surprised. Mani, you are fortunate...that game must look incredible. Ironic in a way, didn't Mr Hide and yourself buy AFM and CV at the same time? Now that are both sold in the same week.

Mark, pics coming. I promise. Just need a night to get some things together.

actually our machines are related but months apart. i was supposed to be the proud owner of AFM but when jeremy's containter arrived, the box marked "Attack" was SHAQ ATTACK!  so i got the project CV instead and Mr. Hide got AFM on the next container 4 months later.

It sorta sucks to not have played one single game but i'm proud of the restoration work... If nothing else Mr. Hide has nightmares of me polishing peices that will last me a life time.

Let's just say if CV should ever leave my apt, it is very likely to find its way back to cmdr tako's basement.
