Well, a family trip to Toronto for Easter has morphed into a major pinball roadtrip. Somehow I managed to fit 3 full pinballs, a backglass, 12 well packed playfields, skateboards, golf clubs, a basketball, cat food for the relatives pets, luggage and soon a 10 year old. Thank goodness the Golden Retriever and Doberman are staying here this time . Many thanks to twilightzone for helping load the three games with me into the van. We invented a new game last night in a snowstorm - TETRIS PINBALL STACKING !

If by any chance, somebody asked me to bring something this trip and it's not on this list, contact me ASAP! Probably won't fit anyways but I'll try find a way.

List:
pinball from shoeguy to cooke
pinball to machineslave
pinball to Enzo
backglass from ethous to Bally Bay
practice playfield to machineslave
IPB playfield for necronemesis

Coming back:
playfield for twilightzone
box of something for loafer(where am I getting that from again?)
a pinball
lots of presents and cups of tea from everybody I'm delivering to

Happy Easter everybody and will see all receivers at various times over this weekend.

If you see any sparks in your rear view mirror, it's because the van's frame is touching the ground...

Trust me - I'm thinking about that - my trailer hitch is about 4-5 inches from the ground. Probably be my slowest drive ever to TO

How is she supposed to even use her rear view mirror? It's blocked!

OUCH.. those pics bring back memories.

driving with a blocked rear view is easy.. it's when the passenger side mirror is blocked with stock that you question your sanity and pray when making right turns.

in 92,  did chicago->mtl with a 10 ft van, that was so loaded down: top speed was 40-45 mph. imagine every vehicule passing you by.  A normally 19 hr drive, that took 27 hours. looking back, it boggles the mind that i wasn't ticketed. we couldn't hit more than 25 mph off highway since it took forever to get upto speed.

Cool and thanks .

Well, 5 hours Cumberland (ottawa) to Newmarket. No problems and no sparks Got Bad Cats unloaded into my brothers garage for Sat delivery and repacked the van for the marathon delivery and playdate visits tomorrow. Nice surprise for you Brock - put the Bad CAts back together for you so it's plug and play again

See everybody tomorrow and Sat for visits. And maybe there will be a 24 opening party in Cumberland next week.........

It's OK - I'm safe for the trip home. Worst case - only 1-2 pinballs will be returning with me and 1 playfield and your box. My van will practically be floating on the way home it'll be so light

Just wanted to say thanks for delivering the pin and wanted to let you know that it is setup and working.

Thanks, ME.

PS. For everyones info the van is still running and looked much better now with only one pin in it.

It was very nice meeting you also Enzo.

I started out at 815 this morning and just got home to my brothers in Newmarket. Unloaded my new pin and reloaded The Bad Cats and backglass for delivery tomorrow. Wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Adam (vengeance) who came along for company today and ended up carrying 3 games in or out of houses. Also want to say thanks to Corey(cooke) and poolman for having us in their homes for some playing and visiting (while dropping off games and playfields etc). It was alot of fun and had a great visit with another member (tslam). Can't wait to catch up with you guys again in Allentown and/or Expo. Fun but tiring day and even managed to get in some baby time (thanks Mason ). Couldn't ask for a better day - pinball playing, visiting with new/old friends and great company on the road trip. And a new pin

Now to bed for the Starburst run tomorrow.
