starting a new EM project and on the first quick inspection, I found a broken rivet on a score reset relay (rivet that hold the metal pivot and the plastic ).

Canadian Tire have some riveter but I'm not sure if what they sell is right tool to do this job... any suggestion for a quick and cheap fix ?
thanks

Quick and cheap fix?

A nut and a screw.

Cheapest fix you can get, other wise you have to buy a specific tye of rivet called a pop rivet.  You can't get them at any local hardware store on pinball related places.

If its for a pivot a straight forward rivet will bind it. If you use a nut and bolt to replace it  you should use a nylon lock nut. these nuts will pretty much stay where you put them so you can tighten the bolt and nylon nut just enough to allow for proper movement.
