When you've got no choice, Uhaul is better than nothing. I've rented from them a number of times, I even pulled my show car on one of their trailers, never had a problem. I love their trucks, I beat the hell out of them. Discount rent a car has pickups, and sometimes you can get them pretty cheap, and it's less worry than pulling a trailer if your not comfortable doing so.
