What's the latest and greatest in the DS world for playing game roms?

I haven't used my Ds in a few years and I had the R4 and it worked great, but I figured there is probably something better out now.

What are other people using now?

I've used the DSTWO recently, too.   Neat thing is it works on the NDS and the DSi with the same configuration.   I heard the M3i is pretty good, too (not sure if works on the NDS though).

Works on both.  I like the firmware upgrade option, just in case something happens and it needs to be updated  .

Scribblenauts is great for about an hour on the title screen for just messing around with stuff.  Then you try to play the actual game, and realize that it doesn't work very well.

My DS has had Picross 3d in it for a month or so now.  It's great to pick up and play in 5-15 minute chunks when you need a quick break.  I also played through Retro game challenge a while back, which is a neat idea.  It's a game based around achieving a bunch of different goals in different Famicom games that never existed, but that all manage to mimic known styles pretty well.

My thoughts exactly on Scribblenauts.  I think there's a sequel coming out that will improve the gameplay but that doesn't do me any good right now.

Might check out Retro Game Challenge.  I'm just looking for something to play for like a week until Valkyria Chronicles 2 comes out.
