I'm desperately seeking a kind-hearted Medusa owner who will kindly take a pic of the left zipper flipper coil and the small "opening coil" for the zipper flippers.  I have shown an example below but something showing greater detail is preferred.  I'm trying to determine if the present wiring on my machine is correct.

Wouldn't mind a picture of the knocker wiring as well, if you're in a good mood.

BUT, it just dawned on me...if you can even "describe" from left to right, the number and colour of the wires on each of the two coils, that would be just as good.    I'm especially interested in the two orange/green wires.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Phil.  I'll work with that for a while.  Just to check, it looks like there is nothing on the third lug of the small coil in the middle of the pic (zipper flipper opening coil ).  Is that correct ?

If anyone else wants to offer a pic, it would be great for comparison.

Phewfff !   With the help of Sylvain and Phil, I managed to solve the 2nd most annoying problem I've come across in my mere 2.5 years in this hobby.   It was, as suspected, a number of 'hacks' which resulted in power flowing somewhere it shouldn't or going the wrong way or whatever.  I don't even really know what the problem was.  With the aid of some pics ( see Phil and Sylvain above ), I was able to properly wire up the offending coils.

Did I say Phewff already ?

Good luck Belgian air force... tu va gagner la bataille!

David, if you remember correctly, Gino had the same problem on his Fathom at a meeting. All insert lights are fed by one of the bridge rectifiers on the power board. It just means that a bridge failed. Costs 6$ and take 5 minutes to fix...

No one can predict a failed BR. It just happens. especially on a 29-year-old game.
