If you can get a HUO POTC for between 3.5 - 4 that is just about right.

Thanks much Adam!  Never gave the game a fair shot...  The sound package just killed it for me.  Now, I have the opportunity to buy one at a good price.

How would this game stand-up against titles such as TSPP and LOTR?

LMK and thanks again

I really like POTC and it's next on my Stern list of pins to buy.

I don't think it's as good as LOTR and TSPP but the stacking opportunities and strategy involved do make for some interesting games.  I like that you can stack all three multiballs at once.  I like how using the awards on the compass at specific times nets better results rather then just using them when they become available.  It's a very stop and go game but the ship is a pretty cool toy.  It's good some good depth, four winds is an achievable wizard mode but I've heard that I think it's called the gauntlet is supposed to be very hard to achieve and even harder to complete.

Overall I enjoy the game and will own one eventually.
