These work pretty good too. When Princess Auto has a sale you can sometimes get 4 for about 25 bucks...

THis what I use too as a lift dolly doesn't make much sense in my squished basement.  You can also ge away with two and lift the front to steer the pin around.  I'll bet that nothing beats the lift for quick set-up break down of a pin though, or lowering the pin from its leg height to work on the playfield underside, etc.

you need to be one of those crazy guys that cuts a hole in the floor and builds some accident waiting to happen pulley system.

my next house will have stairs from the garage to the basement, with an electric chain motor hooked into the roof trusses to lower machines to the basement, if i can afford the next "dream" house

Eric

There's a Flamborough TOPL member that has done this.

I just picked up an ATV lift from princess auto:
http://www.princessauto.com/sh.....tv-lift?keyword=lift

It's on sale right now.
I haven't played with it yet, as its my xmas gift.
Going to get my brother to build a riser for it...

Thanks for the ideas.. now I wanna mod the wheels and make a tilt feature.

I use a motorcycle lifter with a modified bed as well.  Mine's a little more redneck/cobbled together than the ones i've seen, but truth be told, it works like a charm. pop it under a pin, lift it and roll it where it needs to go.  I do reccomend at LEAST 12 inches of extra height for a bed.   Dunno if they are on sale this week, but they usually sell at Canadian Tire for 95 or so, but go for half price a few times a year.

I used to use those 3 wheel skates from PA, but I was always having issues with them popping out from under the legs, especially on carpet. This probably isn't an issue for most of you though, sine few people seem to have finished basements.
