You know there is a thing called "shipping" right ?! I believe at the current price of gaz, 300$ would be a bargain!

Best bet, to save money, would be to have it shipped to a location closest to you at the border. You will save a shitload by not having your transport cross over the border. Pick it up yourself in the US then.

Most shippers have terminals close to the border... they might agree to hold it there.

Quebec City to Spokane Washington = 4500 KM  !   (each way ! )

Return trip = 90hr of pure driving,  6 full days including rest-stops and hotels.

Gas ( assuming a very good 15L/100 for a large vehicle ) = 1350 L @ $1.00L (US Gas price) = $1350


When you add food and lodging, you're looking at WAY over $1500 for the trip.
(...not to mention driving for a Hellish 6 days straight ! )

Even if shipping is $600, that's still a way better deal...

Besides, like others have said... if you have it shipped to a US city near the Canadian Border,
you can probably find shipping for $300-400 .


...then again,  I know you drove to California to pick-up the earlier Joust,
so I guess you know what you're getting yourself into .  I guess you like driving !

Hé Claude, j'vais devoir retourner chez toi pour l'essayer cette Joust..... A première vue elle ne semble pas trop compliquée mais juste le fait de jouer a 2 sur une pinball sa doit etre vraiment trippant!!!!
(J'pourrais en profiter pour redescendre avec une TZ....si elle est a vendre  )

Great novelty/collector pin ... but not so much of a "deep" game.

Great at parties and the occasional head-to-head challenge,
but otherwise not a pin that keeps you coming back for more.

Still....  I LOVE mine and wouldn't trade it for anything...

I've emailed the guy who bought my JP. It's getting shipped to California to get an idea of cost. I think he is using NAVL. I'm sure the cost is less than $800 and you don't have to take off a week from work.

I'll PM you the details once I get word back from him.
