Anyone going? Hasn't been in an auction in 2 months, not sure if that means even more junk will show up or what. Look forward to seeing anyone thats coming!!

I planning on going also, but Adam tells me there is always more games at the next auction after Labour Day in early October, when all the summer camps and other seasonal locations close down and instead of storing the games they take them to auction. However with Starburst you just never know, hopefully there is something nice this Saturday also.

   if i ended up with something.  i would just leave it there and get a friend to bring his truck down later.  also can phone a cab and request that they bring a van.  one heck of a loading fee tip for the driver.  also have had other buyers offer to drive things back for me as well.  who knows might have been some pre-maaca members.  all i know that most of the buyers were pretty cool and nice to me.  i was alot freakier looking back then.  the auctioneer almost always started the opening bid pointing at me.  hey if i can get it for opening bid then why not.  i tried for everything.  best was coming back with 11 100% working vids for less then $700.  some excellent titles.   that time we just used my father in laws van and made more then one trip of course.

will try and make it to this one.  but don't know if the wife will let me.  i don't say that much.  but with all the stuff i have been getting and also still having to travel down to london area as well still....  you all have a great time and hope every member scores something great.

the london guys are coming to the sb auction why not just pickup the stuff from them up at sb?

Just left starburst and only pins there are the same sharky's shootout , high roller casino, playboy (stern) and dirty harry. They want 1900.00 for dirty harry. When I talked to Adam he send not to many people are bring games this weekend.

just got back from starburst again and there is a ton of videos and redemption. Also startrip troopers is there now along with rfm. I couldn't get to the back but didn't notice anymore pins.

Just a heads up there are some nice pins at the auction tomorrow.  Some of the titles so far are Simpsons Stern, Simpson's Data East, 2 Stargate Troopers, Revenge From Mars, Rockey and Bullwinkle, plus more stuff is being unloaded.  Lots of video.  

I just spoke to Adam and he states there is a TSPP, DE Simpsons that someone brought from his home, Ripleys believe it or not which is in good shape, 2 Starship Troppers which have been cleaned up, and the others mentioned by pinstocker.

Won't be able to make it down  

Would be interested to know the results when finished.

Especially the redemption machines, now that i have my Hoop It Up, i want another redemption machine, i'm setting up a lil crappy ticket redemption center with little crappy give-a-ways for friends/family they all are loving it!

Let me know what prices stuff went for, maybe if i can clear some more space in my basement, i'll pick something up in october?

Great auction, tons of people. Lots and lots of stuff some of it was junk but it was pretty good. Nice seeing everyone!

Some of the pins sold were:

There were more but I did not stay for the complete auction. They have a new auctioneer and he drags it out, scrapping every penny he can for Starburst. Great auction for once, lots of selection and not a ton of Starburst buy backs. Although I did not buy anything, it was worth going.

Not the deepest of games but great theme for a few year old game!

I played it at Marvin's Marvelous Museum and was racking up credits right and left for a buck!

The RBION had a bunch of problems, not worth $2200 IMO.  Lot of wierd things going wrong with it.  

I have the RFM down at $2000.

Ya, guess once you get the taxes and stuff on there with the issues it has then..you should find a HUO for a few $100 more as it's  bit of a dog for longevity...

Yeah, with this new guy, you have to be as loud and obnoxious as he is to get your bid heard sometimes. You can't just raise your hand and expect to get your bid registered.

Meh, I fine with $1050, if I went $1000 and then the other guy went $1050 I would not have gotten it so $1050 is fine for me.

Only problem was I wasn't able to take it home that day, I usualy use my parents van or my brothers truck, but both were in the shop yesterday so I was SOL, going to go and pick it up on Friday.  

I have about 3/4 of the pricing, if I can get my scanner working I'll scan it and post it.

NBA for $1050 is a good price. That pin was owned by Starburst and they must have dropped their reserve, as it has been there the last two auctions. The last auction it was "sold" for over $1200, but obviously it was bought back by Starburst. I would not be surprised if the reserve was dropped to $1000 and that is why the auctioneer went straight to $1050. I bought a NBAFB from the auction last year for $1075, so you did well.

If you have any problems with the defender mechanisim let me know, I have the complete mech with opto board that I bought thinking it was the problem, but was not. Enjoy your new pin, lots of different opionion on it but I enjoyed it.
