Anyone ever buy a pin at Pin Expo in Chicago and get it shipped via North American Van Lines?  I'm curious what a guy would be looking at in terms of $$$ and hassle.

I realize I'm a little further out than most of you, but still a ballpark idea would be cool.  What about taxes/duty and all that jazz?  Anyone have good or bad experiences?

I looked into shipping from most states to Ontario, and then most stares to a US boarder city.  The price difference is incredible.

If I recall correctly, shipping to a US boarder city was approx $300 (US), while shipping plus duty and brokerage was about $800 (Can).

I was going to see about buying a Pin from Colorado last year and getting shipped to buffalo where I would pick it up.  But that didn't happen as I spent my cash on another more local PIN.

Keerikes.  I'll probably look a little more into it, but maybe I'll just save some money and buy something from the buy/sell here when the time comes.

The lady who used to work at Navl ( Michele? ) changed ship this week.. she posted on RGP... can't seem to find the post now but she's basically saying they sucked!
