Anybody know what the procedure to ship Forward air to the US. I know that I have to bring the pallet to their location in Dorval..Do you know what the cost is approx, and any other details I should know.

I shipped a game from TO to N.Carolina a few years back.  I think it was about $230 to ship, and I can to have the game at the very least strapped to a pallet. (I ended up crating the game)  The only  thing is you can't pay by credit card, so make sure you've got cash. (unless you've got a US$ cheque or a Forward Air account setup)

The only other thing I can think of is make sure all the documentation values are correct.  I didn't double check it and the get @ forward air put a different value on the insurance section so it didn't match the customs value section and the guy I shipped it to had a hell of a time getting that sorted out on his end.

I shipped a few games as well. They required having the pinball crated, though, as they stack their palettes in the truck.

Paperwork is very straightforward, but they have to weight and measure your palette in order to get you a quote. So, if you don't want to go there twice, make sure you have cash money, like Adam stated, or have the buyer (if your selling) sending you enough money prior.
