Hey Guys...
For those of you who don't know Dave is an excellent guy to deal with. I bough a game from him a couple months ago....It broke ....he came back to my house last night without any hesitation to try and fix the problem...He found it and fixed it within an hr...He drove about an hr to my house to fix it....... I just wanted to say thanks again..

What was the issue, and the fix?  (and I'm guessing this was for ToM?)  Only reason I ask is it could help other owners of the same game in the future.  (and yes, Dave is a good guy to deal with)

it was a bad bridge rectifier...
and all he charged me was nothing........he stood behind his game he sold me.......
But i still gave him $50.00 to cover his gas.....
He didn't even charge me for the part....

AWESOME!! to see a seller stand behind their sale...or refund if need be...ive heard other horror stories here and beyond!!  KUDOS to you for the $50 gratuity! im sure he will be more than anxious to help next time. im curious? did you see (in person or have someone) the machine before you bought it?

I had a similar story.  Dave was dropping off a game last year.  After he helped me move it in, he then spent over an hour trying to help fix a problem I had on another machine.

  same here when he dropped one off at our old shop in trenton.  he made sure it set up proper and played proper.  when it didn't at first he spent the time to get it all up and working.  that was a vid.

Thank you for what! At least dave is standing behind his sale when he does not need too. Unlike other individuals on this site.

I don't see anything to laugh about, I see someone new and having troubles. Like myself I'am new to this Hobby,sport,challenge and I think that you as a seasoned veteran to this hobby should be giving support and not being (as your profile puts it a troublemaker ) You should be showing support and not mocking people.

I gotta admit... I laughed!  But then again, I've been around here and the hobby long enough to know sarcasm when I see it.  Ian is a stand up guy, and is always willing to bend over backwards to help ANYONE, no joke.  Spend a little more time here, and you'll get it.

That's OK Duke - I do get the joke and I can laugh at it now (seeing as it is made at my expense).  As a side note, I do not deal with the technician any more.  In fact I was going to buy the new IJ from him but he is so difficult to understand that I no longer do business with him.  Or actually he no longer does business with me - go figure...  

One of my golden rules of life... when something goes to crap, you might as well laugh about it. Sorry if I offended you in any way. From now on, I will be the "Ben Stein" of MAACA, if it helps...
