Just got a RFM and would like to watch the TILT video.

Does anyone have an old copy lying around that they wish to unload?

I can buy from the states, but figure it would be easier to get it from a member.

PM me if you have one to sell.

Thanks.

This is the kind of hobbyist-led, small production that would greatly benefit from all the financial support it can get. Consider purchasing a copy directly from http://www.tilt-movie.com/buy.php.

lame, this isn't some huge Hollywood blockbuster that makes millions, it's a small independent and it's about our hobby.  I'm not a saint and I download my fair share, but when it comes to this kind of stuff I think it's worth supporting.

Why is it ok to steal from Hollywood productions (or more accurately 'copyright infringe')? Sure, they make lots of money, but does that mean it's ok to rip off the creators?

I didn't say it was ok.  But it's not as though we are swimming in available pinball publications.  If the creators can't count on the small niece market that they are marking to (us in the pinball community) to actually pay for their movies, then all those other trailers that we see will never get made.

Like I said this isn't Hollywood, I get that Hollywood loses millions each year on pirated copies of their movies, but they make billions, they have the money to lose, the guys making this pinball documentaries don't.  Also again I never said it was wrong to pirate this but ok to pirate other stuff, I just said it was lame, which it is.

Also if you can't see why it's lame, then why are you in this hobby to begin with?

What?  Creators in hollywood actually get paid?  I am skeptical.

Quoted Text
Hollywood accounting gets its name from the alleged frequent practice of it in the entertainment industry — that is, in the movie studios of Hollywood. Stereotypically, the creators of material which is adapted into screenplays fall victim to Hollywood accounting.

Huh? I shouldn't be in the hobby because I think stealing from a little guy is just as bad as stealing from a big guy? If I argued that stealing from a little guy was OK because stealing from a big guy was OK, then I would understand why you'd be upset with me, but that's not what I said.

Hollywood filmmakers, writers and actors, crew, etc. all get well paid at the time of production.  Actors get the better shake on their share of after-cost revenue because they have a strong union, distributors (who put up the financing for the most part) try to fenagle the revenue in their favour so that they don't have to pay the royalties and residuals (or at least as much as possible) to maximize their return.  Distributors are the bottom of the barrel, but if no one was making money, then they wouldn't be doing it.

I think movies should be like any other product and offer a refund if it doesn't deliver as advertised.

Maybe we should pass around the collection basket at movies and you can put in what you think it's worth at the end.

Hollywood is offensively full of bloat and garbage.

I agree 100%. They have remade( Butchered) almost every film I liked, and the "new" interpretations are complete garbage..with no exceptions. What's next , Sylvester Stallone's "Cobra", portrayed by a female lead..Ellen Degeneris maybe?Maybe I shouldn't have posted this, someone in Hollywood may see it!
