This is one Jim would love...

I have a poker tournament tonight. Up for grabs, well, 20 players at 20$ a pop plus 20$ buy-ins which half will use, 2 games, winner takes all...

... that makes 1200$.

Now, I see you all wondering "hey Sparks... why the heck do you think that you have a chance to win that money, you cocky a**?"

...

...

...Maybe it is because I have won the last 3 tournaments.

Hopefully, with a bit of luck, I will win me a pin tonight!!!

Either your friends are suckers for punishment or they must really need to win back their losses...

1st game lasted too long, so we stopped. Not everyone bought in either.

Sorry dude, but it finished at 1am. That would be hell for you...

...Tell you what... like I posted in the past, if anyone wants to hold a friendly poker night (no one spends more than 20$ all night long), let me know and I will host one. I am taking a vacation on the week of the 23rd (off until July 2nd to be exact), so if there is any interest, I will hold a Poker/Pinball evening.

... but don't get all excited... all I have pinball-wise is Silverball Mania. Technically, I could reassemble Eight Ball, but OMG it looks like mess!!! Same goes for Eight Ball Champ.

eheh, don't worry about the 1:00am crap, I got to bed usually around 2-3am, even on weekdays when I work.  As long as I have enough advanced notice, I can probably make it.

Congrats on a good haul, well done.

You might be good @ poker sparky, but you got the hustling all backwards.   First suck us in, then show us how good you are... ...with you contstantly winning, I'll avoid any table you are at!

It's all relative, your assuming that all the people Sparky plays against are good, they all could suck

Actually, I am merely good... by no means am I an expert. And if I hustled, I would be playing cash games with much higher stakes.

Poker is like pinball to me... I just enjoy the company of friends coming over to play.
