Keep in mind that prices vary from location to location too..  In Ottawa, BSDs tend to go for 1500-1700$ depending on how nice it is..

I finally got to play JM last weekend.  It is a fun game.  But then so is BSD.  I think its comparing apples and oranges, you really need to experience both.

Now if you are a Keaneu Reeves fan...its a win-win situation!

BSD is a really fun game. It's one of my favorite WPC games. It's a modern machine with an old-school feel. Nice wide open playfield without too much  ridiculousness to complicate things. I've never played JM.

They once been my lineup (see picture).

I would own BSD over JM in a multi-pin lineup. Its a hard game (triple stacking the multiballs is hard but VERY satisfying).

Its a game that will get you back for more, short games, frustrating sometimes. You need a few easier games in the lineup in my opinion thou since you will want to change your mind a bit after getting your a** kicked by Drac

JM is also a fun and fast game, lots of modes, more complicated than BSD rules wise. The glove is a cool toy and there is a strategy into it. I got annoyed by the crazy Bob hole after a while myself but its probably the only complain i can have about it.

I think you would be happy to own either, but since you have the choice, try them before buying, they are really different. The BSD i owned is the one Jim has for sale right now, it is a REALLY nice example, dont be afraid to go for it.

Good luck in your decision,
Sylvain

Really??  that is an odd thing to complain about with this game, I find that hole is one of the best I've seen in pinball.  You hit a nice solid shot at it and it sticks.  Most games it dribbles around and falls out just as often as it falls in, but not JM, crazy bobs is a nice solid shot, I only wish games like IJ, MM, LOTR, etc, etc had as solid a saucer shot as that one.

MB does..  They put the "backstop" way behind the hole so that a hard shot will actually go behind the hole, hit the stop, then roll down back in the saucer..  Great design.
