I'm assuming you mean Bahamas, in that case sea cargo or air would be your only solution obviously. I dont know if it would be expensive like it was for Jvegas to buy games out of south america (what was it 900 bucks for shipping?)

Maybe he means from here: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q.....;iwloc=addr&om=1  Nassau, NY (not quite as nice weather, I presume).

Assume 300-400 using NAVL  + taxes at the border.  Its 4hrs one way .. you might consider driving it across yourself.

Talk to Jim.  I would say he has the most experience in having pins shipped from the US.

You're better to buy 2 machines if you can since NAVL will ship 2 for 1....you'll also need a customs broker to clear the shipment. Contact Tina at 613-741-4580...she'll give you an exact quote and let you know what else you need to do. It'll likley be around $350-$450, so you can see 2 for the price of 1 is the way to go.

Pinball machines are duty free, but are subject to PST/GST.  So expect +14% on top of the cost of the machine.

An option could be to go forward air (they ship things that close Ground Freight). If they have a terminal in NY, they are super cheap.
The benefit is that they are a bonded carrier, so you can clear the machine in Montreal, and not have to at the border saving some money.

Drive it !   It really is not that far (approx 4-5 hours).  I drove a similar distance last week for a game pickup and was truly a painless experience.  Expect to pay the GST and PST when crossing back.  I would strongly recommend that the seller produces an invoice for you.
At least when you pick it up, the risk of damage is low and the cost of bringing it up is lower than having  a 3rd party transport it...
