I may have an opportunity to trade my Addams Family for a Demolition Man. Sounds like the DM is in good shape. I have never played Demolition Man so before I do I thought I would ask opinions here on this trade.
How do these two machines compare both in game play and in market value? Is this a fair trade? You can see my TAF listed in the classified section. Thanks for any assistance. |

IMHO, a very nice shopped TAF is worth more than $3K and a similar condition DM is worth $1800.
Having said that, I prefer DM, other than the cryo-claw that creates a pause during game play this is a very fast game, continual ramp shots and the profanity roms make it just as comical as TAF. Two totally different playing games, but if I was in a arcade and had a choice, I would play DM before TAF. |

I'm not even going to try to figure out your math.  I think DM is a much more challenging game. More of a player's pin. Addams Family is a general crowd pleaser. Both good games but for different levels of skill. |

Hmm. They say Addams Family average is $3200. I would consider that my machine should be considered average at least. Seems that my asking price of $2800 is very fair then? I wanted to sell it outright for $$ but the more I think about having one less pinball the more I consider that a trade might be a better option. I love to play! |

I'm the guy who sold the TZ. Basement filled with pins would be an overstatement as I only have 5 pins. For what it's worth, I wouldn't trade TAF for DM but I don't care for either one of them in the first place. |
