I thought I would post this for fun... I couldn't care less about how mad he will be if he ses this. I even suggest someone posts a link of this thread on CGCC for comic relief...

Our buddy Shenmue / HayabusaFMW / Sebastien / Seb / S3b stated a month and a half ago right here (http://archive.maaca.org/s107351202.onlinehome.us/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?m-1196424655/) that he wanted his account deleted after being under fire for digging up old crap again... seems that he changed his mind... many times over!  

We admins have a BAN-LOG... where basically any attempt to log in by a banned member is registered... here is a transcript:

being banned just doesn't happen it takes allot, too many complaints spamming etc. so don't worry just be yourself you are entitled to post your opinions > everyone does. then again some people have just asked "please delete me" which we no longer do because they end up coming back.

In 4 years, I have banned 4 people, 2 of them asking be to do it. The other 2 due to fraudulent activity. No no, I wouldn't worry about getting banned...    I just keep an eye out for crooks... It's part of the ''mission'' I agreed to follow when we created the group...

MAACA is one of the most amazing forums I have participated on for both tolerance and cohesive response to trollers, spammers and other eTroglydites.  I used to participate quite heavily on pachitalk.com for example, where the owner would arbitrarily ban people without warning if you said something that somehow miffed him, criticized him (he was very opinionated and gungho USA) or criticized any of the associated pachinko/pachislo suppliers that were visiting the board.  It became too oppressive.

The absence of "pile on" as experienced on rec.group.pinball and the abundance of meaningful discussion is welcomed.  Much to the loss of my free time, I've always enjoyed communicating, learning and sharing on this board, and also meeting the actual people behind the avatars.  What I do find difficult sometimes is remembering given names when we refer to user nicknames all the time.  I've had it in mind to start writing out a cross-reference map for myself to keep track of all the Dans, Daves, and the Mikes etc. ....

Well, I don't welcome it, but anyone can freely tell me off and flame me (hopefully with reason if you do so!!!) without threat of banning, again if it is deserved!!! I have only had to deal with a situation once where a past member was openly bashing without provocation and even that situation was peacefully resolved. Besides... if I was to ban people that bashed me, that would make me the a**hole...

As for names, yeah... gets confusing sometimes... I have had so many members come see me at my place, and what makes it hard is that I have their alias... I have their name... and I have their face... but most of the time, not all 3 together!!!

Hmm... maybe this could be a post...
