Just wandering what everybody thought of these pins? I might be getting a new pin and was wandering which 1 is a better pin. I only played each 1 a couple of times, so i would like to hear your comments on the two.  Thanks

That's a tough one, but I would lean more towards the tspp as I'm a huge Simpsons fan. I'm willing to bet that 95% of this group will lean towards cv

I think CV has a "cult" following ...

It's a great game,  with neat toys and colorful artwork,
but you will never find a game with a deeper ruleset than TSPP.

I'd love to own both, ... but right now I only have the TSPP...

... that said...

As an "investment" ,  CV will keep it's value FAR better than TSPP.

You'd likely be able to sell your CV for what you paid for it,
... but I doubt that would hold true for a TSPP...

TSPP in my opinion is more fun, and obviously has a better ruleset, and is funny as hell so it will keep you coming back for more. CV is nice, but you will sell it after a few months.

Depends on what you want... one to play and forever try to beat or one that you will beat sooner than later but will have a possibly higher resale value.

Retiring soon...

CV was #1 on my wanted list, and since aquiring one I know I made the right choice.  I will never part with mine unless I absolutely have no other choice.

That isn't to say I wouldn't buy a TSPP, as I love that game as well just for the deep ruleset.  (and to be honest, it's probably the only new Stern I would ever think of owning.... just personal preference)

You really need to log a decent amount of games on each one in order to really answer your question, as nobody here will be able to do that for you.

Good luck! (this is the fun part of the hobby)

For once I agree with everything that the guys have said so far.

The only last comment I will add: It is far easier to find a TSPP than a CV. I drove 14 hours to pickup my CV. If you find one at a reasonable price, buy it quickly as they are getting very difficult to find.

It has been scientifically proven that light is faster than sound. That is why some people seem brilliant........until they open their mouth!
