I tried to order parts from him and got totally frustrated by his policies, it was like dealing with a scammer IMHO, so I ordered elsewhere. I know others on this forum did order from him and apparently he got ill so he delayed shipping out parts and caused much frustration. To me he would be the last person I order parts from, but then I know others have had not issues. It is up to you.

My two cents....

I've ordered a couple of times from mad and it's been pretty good.  There have been issues from the past though when he said he was dealing with a medical issue.

I purcahsed my new TAF ramp off him along with some Cliffy protectors (about 3 months ago).  No issues whatsoever, plus they also got through customs with no charges....

I have had a good experience with this company.

PS: His ramps are cheap!

I ordered some parts from him in the past.  His prices were exceptional back then, but very soon after he received payment for the parts he got sick and there was a huge delay before he was well enough to ship my order.  I became pretty frustrated by the fact he wasn't responding to the majority of my emails and really felt that I was chasing him to get my parts but then again he had Lyme disease so ............who knows.  When I received my parts the Scared Stiff ramp (NOS) had a hair line crack in it.  When I contacted him about this he asked me for pictures which I sent to prove to him the ramp was damaged when I received it .  Anyways the ramp was packed very well with new packing materials and there was no damage to the box which I also took pictures of.  I wanted to send this ramp back and pay the shipping if he would send me another one.  He later responded that there was no damage to the ramp when he sent it and that it must have been damaged in shipping and that he would not send another.  Anyways I contested that point with him again a few months later and he gifted me a start button with switch for my Indy 500 game (that I needed)and he also covered the shipping.  Better than nothing I guess, but I can't say I was satisfied overall with this transaction.

Ok Guys, Thanks .....here's the deal....
I need a Funhouse translight, some dumb a** I bought the game from attacked a sticker on the translight, Its been removed but you can still see the damage its done....I can only find a translight at Mad amusements. I also need a target and ramp set.....So here's the deal ....pay shipping from 3-4 different places or save some money on shippping and kill 3 birds with one stone..
the main question.....are you covered by visa if this guy dicks you around......or sends you damaged parts....
He is also willing to declare it for a lot cheper so I don't have to pay customs or taxes but said if anything comes damaged he will only cover the cost he put on the customs papers. Should I just order the translight from him or take a chance and order ramps and tagets from him as well and have him declare full value on the customs paper.

I would not order the ramp from him if he will not cover it if it gets damaged.   I ordered a Addams ramp from him about 2 months ago and the first one showed up in about 4 parts and he had declared it way low, but he had to send a new ramp because I had used ebay and paypal.  So if he is saying he will not cover it I would think twice.  I dont think your covered by visa but if you could order through ebay and use paypal you are.  They way he packs the ramps is not that great both times he shipped to me it was in a box with just foam pellets around it.  They are better then nothing, but I think if he would have used a heavy bubble wrap the first one would not have been broken.
