If someone actually went through the trouble of adding up their 'nickels and dimes' in CT money, why would anyone want to sell it for 50 cents on the dollar after-the-fact? Go spend it. There's always something that someone needs at CT.

Bell was offering 50% value of competitors' gift cards towards store credit a few Christmases ago.. that's worse, IMO.

Not to mention that I believe that CT has won the bid for the new service stations along the 401 corridor.
I've seen these ads for some time, a good idea, but not worth the hassle in my mind. If you have the time however sitting outside a store and offering that amount to people as they come out might work better than the ad on-line. More work though.
Here's a thought... instead of giving your CT money to this moron for half it's worth, why don't you just SPEND your Canadian Tire money at.... get ready for it.....
