Well, We just returned from a week in Disney World in Florida, Fun place, be prepared to walk about a Zillion miles!! The Hotel we stayed in (Disney's Pop Century) was very cool, The Theme was Pop culture through the last 50 years, We stayed in the 80's wing which had Pac Man dots Monsters and Pac Man himself along the balcony's and sides of the building, Very well done.

The Arcade in the Hotel had a lot of games including new Vids and classic repops, multi games etc. They had a small pin row of four Pins, Not a bad line up... Lord of the Rings, Elvis, World Poker Tour and Pirates of the Caribbean. I had very little time to play there, but I played a few games on Pirates managed to leave my initials on it, so that was good. And a few on WPT, a few credits, but no initials. I never tried the other two, but the two I did try both had issues, WPT had very week flippers and the ball would actually over power the flipper if you tried to catch it and not pulse back on like a Data East will (Do these Sterns work like that with their EOS switch? The POTC treasure chest would not always release the ball and a ball search would happen, after that it would release another ball. If you shot the second ball into the Chest it would release both causing the first lost ball to end both even though the other ball was still in play, Not a multi-ball you want! Oh, and the sinking ship simply didn't work. Still, Nice to see that line up in an arcade! Oh, they use a kind of rechargeable credit card instead of coins and tokens... Pins were 25 cents a game!

Went to Universal Studios and one of the arcades in the Marvel Superhero part had 2 of the dirtiest pins I have ever seen!! South Park and Godzilla, I never got to play them but I was very surprised at the Filth level! Someone was playing the South Park and it seemed to work, so... Who knows.

All in all it was a fun trip, but wow, is that place huge!! Like I said, Be prepared to Walk and Walk and Walk some more, then get on a Bus to a place to walk some more! Great Fun though...

Dave (In better shape than when I left!)
