This will be at the pin show this weekend, not sure if it will be set up or if I'm just bringing it Sunday to be sold:
http://s887.photobucket.com/albums/ac77/McMean/SolarCity2/

The good:
-some new pop bumper parts
-some new new flipper parts
-new rubbers and ball
So right now it plays 100%, lots of fun, BG has usual red flaking but overall good for its age. PF dismantled, scrubbed

Not so good:
Very little PF wear (see pics for close up - makes it look a lot worse than it really is) but the wear I took the close up of is the only wear - rest of Pf is awesome for Solar City, one small wear spot (see pics)
Cab has usual nicks

So here's the kicker - this pin is HAUNTED!!! Yes, the spirit of a ghost inhabits this pin... and it doesn't like me.  I think it  might like you, though.  The 500 pt feature (as in, rolling over a 500 pt rollover) sometimes gets stuck.... and keeps scoring 500pts... FOREVER!  I've fixed it 3 times, but then after a jillion plays, it comes back.  Clearly I'm missing something, but I'm not interested in looking any more.  I'd be more than happy to go through what I've done with relays, score motor, and switches, but in my semi-professional opinion there is an intermittent short somewhere that I've been unsuccessful in finding so far.  Again, right now it's playing 100%, and it might play 100% forever, but it might also work for 10 minutes and then start scoring 500pts over and over.  For me, in my position and frame of mind, it's time to cut and run.

$500 OBO, I'd REALLY REALLY be interested in trades for wedgeheads, and early Bally/Stern SS machines.  Contact me thru PM, offers welcome.  Basically you get a pin that MIGHT still have a problem, cleaned, shopped, and I'd say fun as heck.

Daniel

Oh man, I love this pin.  It was the pin that got me into pinball.  I'm a Solar PV Systems Engineer and I thought it was a sign.

Unfortunately it wasn't in the cards and now I've got 2 other pins (and that's the max).

Although....  I just told my fiance that I was planning to go to the Pinball Show this sunday and there was an auction and she said I can pretty much buy what I want cause it's my birthday and how could she say no on my birthday.

I'll make sure I come with an empty car.

Pins: Gottlieb Big Indian, Gottlieb Vulcan

SOLD, thanks.

So this won't be at the show now, but my Captain Fantastic will be, along with my Sure Shot, both on free play.

My buddy picked this up and it runs like a top. Had that ghost rear it's head as soon as we started playing, but cleaning some switches seems to have put them to sleep for now.

That's great!  Here's hoping it doesn't come back.  Glad it's working well - without the ghost it was a great player.
