I think it MIGHT be closer to reasonable if it were half that price. I'd put my money into an LOTR, TSPP any other newish Stern or a few Sys 11's before an 'new' wedgehead.

I think the price is great considering all the work that has gone into this project. I agree that you can get more for your $$$, but in terms of a brand new repro pin the pricing is good, especially where this isn't a mass produced product the likes of Stern.

For someone with a fairly heavy budget for a really nice games room this could be one really cool component. I dont know how marketing would go, but perhaps when someone is getting the pool table, darts etc they would buy this. I bet many of the owners would not necessarily be pinball collectors, just wealthy.
Price wise, this is a good price in my books. If it costs $5k for a new Stern, then $3.7k is great for this unique pin. It would be simply fantastic to see another company come to life and make pins just to give the consumer another option and provide a hint of competition to Stern. That way both companies will try harder.
