As per poolman, I apparently have a cirqus voltaire shooter rod on my scared stiff, would anyone be interested in buying this because I may end up getting the floating eyeball shooter rod instead? (not sure what the going rate is)
Check the pic to see if Im not mistaken.
It does have abit of a 'mirror' finish on it that isnt really made out in the picture
The eyeball shooter rod for Scared Stiff may be on the flyer but would only be found prototypes since they elected not to put that feature in production since they had problems with the eyeball falling off. For home use a customized eyeball shooter rod would be the way to go if you were to find one with the right diameter with proper detailing to enhance the game. I personally would prefer one made of the same material that they use to make those keychain billiard balls out of.
I believe that the shooter rod you have in your game is the right one for the game. A number of pinball games came with that round shooter rod because of the design of these games and the fact a standard shooter rod could do damage to the playfield parts on location with players slamming the shooter rod with the open palm of their hand. So games like World Cup Soccer 94', Theatre of Magic, Cirqus Voltaire and Scared Stiff had this customized shooter rod (related to playfied design). I also have this shooter rod on my Scared Stiff, believe this is the way it came from the factory, and can understand why you would want a round shooter rod on this game.

Yeah John Popadiuk really liked the idea of the plunger skill shot in his games, and elected to go with the round shooter rod, for design and especially function as mentioned above. I'm pretty sure they used this particular style of shooter rod on a few other games at production like Scared Stiff and Cactus Canyon.
