Just about to reread the pinrepair tome and post on RPG but thought I'd start here as always...

...I'm suddenly experiencing more issues with the sound on the Fish Tales I am shopping out.  Played it today and not only does it echo the speaker "pop" on turn on, but now the sound is undulating, or rather cutting in and out on a regular beat pattern...

...any ideas what to look at first?  Could it be a capacitor problem?
