For everybody who is waiting on pix or seeing a machine live, NAVL just called me and said they can't deliver to me till next Tuesday AM. The bad news is that there won't be anything new this wkd...good news is they expect to deliver 14 machines on Tuesday, incl.the Gaucho machines which they picked up for me from the airport. I'm going to try and spend the bulk of Tuesday at the warehouse, unpacking, playing, etc...its going to be like a belated Christmas present!!!

I can't even imagine what receiving 14 machines at one time would be like...probably one of the more exciting days (besides the adoption of our son) in my lifetime. Oh the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat (having to give some up).
Make sure you keep control of the camera this time
Mike
P.S. If you wait til Tue PM I may be able to help (finishing my night shift Tue morning).

DISAPPOINTING!!! Only the Gaucho 2 came. The rest are somehow still tied up in customs. NAVL says MAYBE Friday, but who knows??? I'll attache a couple of pix, showing Gaucho's crates and the actual machines...they actually turned out to be pretty nice after all! As you can see I had a big empty room ready for the onslaught!!!!
What's with this Gaucho? I just checked out their website and they have ridiculously low prices. $900 for TAF or TZ? Can you please explain? Do you have to self assemble the machines? Is this shipping $3000? Or am I reading the currency wrong?

-Medieval Madness! -Indiana Jones (Williams) -Star Trek: The Next Generation -Champion Pub -Terminator 3 -Congo -Johnny Mnemonic -Tales of the Arabian Nights
Heres the Gaucho Readers digest...the machines took 4EVER to get here..3+ months! It was not all their fault as Air canada did bump the machines a couple of times. They also charged a fair bit to prep.and crate the machines. Also the base prices you see on their site are 100% unshopped and untested. The ones I bought thru EBAY were fully shopped and working, although that wasn't exactly what I received. IJ was the better of the 2...just some switch errors and a not perfect job of redoing the artwork. TAF has more errors and has a couple of PF imperfections and a ramp repair, and overall is not as nice as the IJ.
After factoring in the high shipping and prep. costs, the machines were really not that much cheaper than what I get from the States. I also tend to think I may have been lucky with what I got, considering some of the emails I've received from past Gaucho customers.
Lastly you do have to pick-up the machines from the airport, and with the size of the crates they are in, you'll need a pick-up for sure to get them home. No way those crates go in the back of an SUV or wagon. You do get to clear them yourself thru customs at the airport, but you still of course pay PST and GST based on declared value.
