My 1st project in my new house will be assembling my new MAME machine. I have everything I need so far except the pcb (whichever I choose) that translates button presses to keyboard key strokes.


I am going to go HyperSpin FOR SURE on this MAME machine (my other one is MALA).

Hyper spin looks so cool, I can not wait to get it set up.

Does everyone think this comp will have enough "horsepower" to run HyperSpin? or should I up the memory/get a new computer to do it?

I am unfamiliar with CPU's, so don't know what an AMD K8 is. I can tell you Hyperspin is more CPU dependant than most of the games you'll be playing.  Video card doesn't really matter for mame or Hyperspin but a dual core really allows HS to run nicely. You can get away with a single core if the clock speed is high, or if you turn off some of the CPU intensive features.
