All in all, I'm very happy.. Thanks to all, but the biggest thanks go to GJD for throwing a great auction and being just a great guy in general.. Get some rest dude! You deserve it.
HUGE thanks also go to B1 for helping me out in a pinch.. I owe you one, bud. You're not such a jerk after all.

one mans loss. another mans gain they say. I decided to unload this as I have a few exidy crossbows on the way, and I didn't want to end up at the local seven eleven with the rifle from cheyenne . Doesn't it go something like" big bills no funny business?" Nice buy, please update us with the results of this restoration, it is a great unique game.
PS here are the link to some pics( thanks for taking them, at least i will always have the memories, ha ha)
I've never actually played a Blue Screen of Death.
Davester.
That would be a BSOD, not a BSD.

I was wondering where you got to Steph! I was sooooo Jealous of that Cruisin...
Yes, I'm pretty happy about it too...
Haven't had time to set it up yet, but those who "test drove" it at Gerald's warehouse said it played well.
I was also got a few envious stares on the Chexx.. One guy even offered to buy it from me for "alot" more (...his word) than I paid for it, but I had 3 kids at home waiting for it, so I didn't bite.
The Chexx is pretty dirty, but I think it will clean up ok. The dome looks decent with only a few small cracks. The game was in two pieces when I picked it up so it has not been tested, ... it looks pretty complete so I'm hoping it will work...
I'll be sure to post updates of both games when I've got them set-up...
I would like to give a big thanks to GJD for all the hard work and time he put forth to put this all together. I had a great time there, meeting all sorts of people and putting faces to names.
Pinbot and ghost&goblins have a new home with the rest of my collection and Thx Dave for help'n me load up. There was a bit of a strap malfuction midway down the 401 to add a little excitment to the journey. Pulled over and got it fixed up and made it home in one piece safe and sound.

It's strange -- out of all my purchases over the years, this one will stick in my mind as bittersweet.
The Exidy shooters are pretty damned cool. Crossbow or Cheyenne were on my grail list (2 down, 3 to go)
Add to that the new run of 440 multiboards (big thanks to Weasel for pointing out that it appears that these will be happening and encouraging me to get my name on the damned list) and I have a cabinet that I will never let go of.
And, while I happily raised my card at the starting bid, I still feel guilty because it is worth more and *is* fully working -- just like Gerald said it was -- she needs a new filter cap, along with a regular cap kit, on the monitor and she'll be right as rain.
If she had gone for what I thought she was worth, she wouldn't have come home with me ... so she's kinda like Mrs. Cheffo in that respect!
The kids played it *in the driveway* for over an hour after I unloaded it -- they LOVE it and I haven't even told them about the multi kits yet.
I'll try to do a good job on an article for GRM about the museum and maybe that will start to tilt the scales of karma back in my direction.
Thanks GJD!!
