Dale Jr?  I'd rather play IJ4  

Actually I don't mind the list .. last year IJ4 games were taking forever to complete..

I just find it suprising that they have a number of these setup (I heard that they were doing 4 of each machine ... is that true andrew?)

Any word on the auction items?

Thank goodness, last year I got stuck in the playoffs playing that last IJ4 on the right. What a turd that machine was. At the end of the tourney, that machine had the lowest scoring average. Damn, now I'm gonna have to learn how to score on Dale Jr. And firgure out how to get points on NBA. I can play that thing for a half hour and hit shots all over the place and seem to not score much. Surprised Shrek is in there.

Yes and No .. they used the Shrek and the NBA on Breakfast Television on Tuesday (Peter Davis, Zeus and Mike Hanley were there)

so I had a belief that it might be used. They also pulled TDK from Playdium in Mississauga sometime recently so I guess that makes sense to (Although they left the NBA there ... the playfield on that one is beat to rat crap)

Also, Shrek is being re-released so they're probably promoting it

I didn't know that ... I know that Gary said they were re releasing SM,CSI (why?), LOTR-LE, TSPP but I hadn't heard about Shrek .. interesting .. I think they mentioned FG as well.

I kinda hope so, chances are some of us own some of those titles but not all of them,(not me, I own none of them but I`m pretty familiar with them now) so it'll even out the field a small bit because players will probably be playing a title or two they're not too familiar with. Its no fair if its just Batman and Shrek and you happen to own both titles. You`d know what not to bother watsing you time going for.

Rules were cloudy (they were cut and pasted from PAPA and had some inconsistencies) but from what I read it will be either 3 of 4 or 4 of 4 and then they'll use scoring like at PAPA so the best score of the tournament on any giving pin will get 100 pts and then 2nd best gets 99 ..... but your total points will be from the games you play on a given ticket (entry) so if you have a great game of BDK but lousy other games you can't transfer that great game to another ticket.

If you read the rules section of the web site they explain it fairly well (probably a lot clearer than I'm trying to do)

Yep

You get your package, and one sheet per game to start (4games).  Then, if you don't like the scores you pay another $10 bucks for 3 games...atleast thats how i understood it when i dropped in today.  Shitty leveling job on the Dale Jr. I played and the NBA ball flys all over.

Oh, and ya.  4 games of each along the side wall.  Although a Dale Jr was being carted away...broken.
