I recently fixed up a 1978 Gottlieb Joker Poker.
Here is a video that I put together:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pVKZm3LkE0

It is using Pascal's PI-1 X-4 replacement board.  I highly recommend this board.
It adds lots of optional features to system 1 games including, extra ball awards, skill shots, ball save, attract mode, ball light chase, top 5 high scores with 4 digit names, on-board digital sound, a wizard mode (increasing difficulty scoring points from 900,000 to 1,000,000), plus all the hardware fixes that comes in replacing the power, mpu and driver boards.

Cheers,
Jeph

Great video! Nice tune and well edited. It would be nifty to see a video showing how Pascal's board changes the overall gameplay. Your Joker Poker looks like it plays relatively fast. Good stuff.

I had lost enthusiasmfor the Gottlieb Sys 1's after owning Dragon as one of mytwo very first machines. But, I think I want something with Pascals board now!

Ten SS games...but 8 is my limit!

He made these fancy boards for system 80s too: http://groups.google.com/group.....+80#d0387b146b49a945

Not cheap but they sound awesome. Keep your eye's peeled for boardless Gottliebs!
