I am looking for a good couch and/or a chair for my gameroom. Those furniture will need to be confortable for watching movies.

Any proposition? Any brand? Any Model?

I want to buy a couple of stools just like the one shown above, maybe with a black pad. Any idea where to get decent ones that arent a stupid price?

I think CDN Tire has them on blow out right now. I was there on the weekend and saw a stack of them.

Online I see a garage stool $39.00  looks cheap, thin legs, only one ring.

I like the look on the pic Otto posted, it is more of a retro look and beefier.

Can't go cheap on stools when good $ spent on "A" list machines.

Duane is right, Cdn Tire have them on liquidation. I bought a pair last week for 15$ a piece: all black.
I figure at this price if I change my mind I won't be sad to relocate them in the work area.

I am currently building my gameroom so I was happy to find those. Not as good as real bar stools, but 10 times cheaper too. You get what you pay for; and I feel like this was a deal at the liquidation price.

I am working on the diet thing, but it will be YEARS before i can use one of those lol!!!!!

I use "swag stools"  in that I work in a music store, and sometimes companies send us stools we don't need and i put them in my home game room!

I have one of these and it works pretty good. but the seat is crappy... terrible foam.


I also have one of these, it has MUCH less cushion, but is actually better. I have one at home and one in my shop at work... been sitting my fat arse on it for the last 2 years... it is still holding up!


Would love to find one of the ones above!

But i digress, back to the original post,   all i can say is DON'T SKIMP ON THE COUCH!

UNless you are looking for a rat couch for drinking beer on and napping between games of pinball, you GOTTA spend some $$$ and get something tough and well made.

A good couch and chair is not that easy to find. I was hoping somebody could give me a good advice. The only brand I know is ELRAN, but are they that good? And for watching a movie you need a good couch/chair.
