What I'm thinking (and its only conjecture at this point) in this specific regard is that for specialized items, I am already ordering from many suppliers.  The usual supplies like rubbers I would get direct wholesale.  But if I set up a schedule such that people know they can receive an order from so and so (like Pinbits) , they can plan for it, make an order of a number of items, it all comes together and there is savings for the purchasers on shipping (it's a loss leader for me, but then I am hoping you might order other stock items at the same time).

We already do this bulk ordering amongst a few of us anyway. "Hey, I'm making an order to BAA, want anything?"

Advice is always welcome, and I agree that there is 1) no market here in Canada, and 2) sure it would be great (and unlikely) to luck into an underpriced inventory.  I have no illusions about "getting rich", I am really trying to pass on the benefit and build goodwill since I like this stuff, and I have to order the stuff for repairs and restoration anyways (as we all do) .

Being stateside myself and selling on Ebay, I often ship to other countries.  The problem with shipping abroad is that if you have no tracking number and cannot confirm delivery, the buyer can contact their credit card or Paypal and be reimbursed immediately.  Paypal being the worst when it comes to protecting the seller.  Here is the scenario you sell item through Ebay, ship first class international mail (usually 4lbs or under), ship item and buyer claims they never receive it.  Guess what you are out item and shipping, because Paypal takes the money out of your account.  Not saying all international buyers are scammers just that their postal systems at fault.   If they have a high feedback I will usually bend and send the cheapest way possible.  Actually saves me money since I have to pay 4% acceptance fee on all international transactions.   Not that I am sticking up for stateside sellers, they probably have been burned many times before and are just trying to save themselves financial hardship.
