I will be attending the meeting in Ottawa on the 18th, this will be my first meet. I was wandering how long they ussaally last and if i should bring somthing with me? Thanks

Well some meetings have been known to last until late in the night, but I believe that most run for 3-4 hours (the amount of time the wives let the husbands out to play). Though there is no obligation to stay there for the entire meeting. If you can only stay for an hour or so, then that is fine.

As for what to bring. Well bring yourself and a sense of humor (some of us in the group have a weird sense of humor so be warned ). Bringing a bag a chips and maybe a few cans of pop is usually a good idea for it helps to off-set a few costs for the host (buying all the snacks for 20+ people could be expensive at times).

I will not be attending this one, but it looks like a lot of people will be there. I'm sure it will be a fun time for all
