It looks like he pushed someone a bit too far, maybe one of his past victims? I wonder if that fellow from Calgary who was getting scammed on the Star Wars pin posted that, I wouldn't blame him a bit of he did.
Whatever happened with the Star Wars scam anyway? Did he ever ship the machine?

Be carefull, I know I would'nt like to be associated with this guy if I posted an add on Kijiji. Let's not get paranoid here. I would say that most adds don't come from Anderson, by the way, maybe that explains the new email addresses.

Yeah... I would say the same... but the thing is that I have a list of 61 different emails used by Anderson... he basically registers an email with a provider like Gmail or Hotmail and uses it until it is compromised, and then he ditches it and registers another email address and starts all over again. It has been his modus operandi for years.

That, and the GIANT BOLD TYPE is a dead giveaway..

You never know, not quite his MO though. I would say get in contact and you can tell by his reactions whether he's legit or a scammer. But the easiest way to tell is if the image used is stolen from the INternet. Usually its easy to find the image used with a Google Images search o or the new "CoolIris"
I enquired about the Star Wars Pin.... The guy "JAMES" said that it was available to see at his location in Hamilton.... He said he had other titles, but they were in storage at various sites around the city... primarily in garages of residential units he rents out."
Also, a just so everyone's in the know.... a very nice old school operator in the Brantford Area was recently ripped off for $35,000 worth of equipment.....
Basically as I understand it, it went like this....
Operator selling a pin at his warehouse/shop, guy and his buddy come to pick it up... gets there, looks around, says he's not interested and leaves... a couple days later a break in occures(during the night) at the shop, $35,000 wortyh of machines taken, backglasses/monitors all smashed for no reason, machines, jukeboxes, ect all thrown around (so they could access the stuff they wanted). All higher end stuff taken, lower end stuff destroyed! Among the items was a Getawwy and World Cup soccer.....
I'm not sure if the operator like to air his dirty laundry, but I though we should all be aware. this occured in Nov/Dec 2008. police are still involved.
If you see anything odd, please call the Brantford police.
If it is possible, get a list of what was taken, with as many details as possible, like serial numbers (I know... fat chance...). If a fishy machine pops up, then the police can be notified.

It is ony a greesy hobby because of a few individuals. The majority enjoy the hobby in an honest, productive way..... However from the start of the industry, it has attracted those sort evil individuals... so I guess we all knew what we were getting into when we started....
As for the list... I doubt it. he's still pissed over the whole thing, and there is an active police investigation going on (as I understand it).
Bad things happen to good people.... (usually because they trust others and don't take necessary precausions)

The greasiness of the hobby is that it has always been about gambling, bars, and unaccountable cash. You don't need much skill to fix a pinball (the wrong way), and even less skill and no pride to swindle people. People like Anderson do what they do because they've been doing it all their adult life and know nothing else. Add some serious schizophrenia to that and you've got a nightmare on Hatt Street. You get these types in all sorts of "collectables" circles.
