If you are getting from Cointaker who I've tried alot of his, my general opinion is order the wide angle for all basic needs. The narrow is only good for very small inserts (dime sized) or if using the 555 version in a spotlight. Colour wise - blues, greens and whites are the best effect. Yellow, orange and red have very little effect under inserts any different from a regular bulb. In fact, I colour regular 555 or 44 with orange sharpei and it makes the orange inserts POP! Red and yellow makes no difference even coloured unless a huge insert ie door inserts in TZ is the only place I would say you can see a red difference with LED. Frosted he didn't have yet at Allentown so no experience but I would assume to use those if visible on playfield ie GI or lights in signs where colour condoms were used.

I'm hoping the "hipower" red's make a difference. I order a few of each to experiment - which I guess is the only true way to know: 4 4+1HP44R 44 RED 4leds + 1High Power 1.69 6.76
I want these for an underplayfield light that tries to light an insert which is mostly covered by kick-out holes. It's the "special" light, and unless you know to look, you'd never know its on.
Whether it's high power or not, you won't see much of a difference with red compared to incandescent bulbs except for the instant on/off nature of LEDs.
