Congrats !

I find that rare EMs are not often found for a good price anywhere.
Especially if working...

A production of only 155 is indeed very low - and rare...

Bravo !

Cheers,
- Sylvain.

Boy they're giving it to you good clomizac, I do agree totally with the sentiment that if you use lifted pictures, without a disclaimer you are misrepresenting the item, do I smell copyright infringement?  We just don't do it here unless your name is Mr. Anderson.

I wonder why it was re-painted, if the original paint is still good?

if anybody is interested, i have a Target Alpha that is dark green/black.
Who knows, maybe somebody can kick start their collection of painted EM's based on primary colours!

Funny stuff.

Yep..  Too much of a hurry to make a quick buck that he didn't even have time to take pictures

Not that it'll sell at that price in that condition tho.. And using the Mr Pinball price as a reference indicates total "newbieness"..  Someone didn't read the first part of the price guide..  You know the part where it states that prices listed reflect a machine that's : "100% working, recently shopped, and in excellent cosmetic condition"..

My 0.02$

Yes it was brought to my attention about the picture and the issue will be fixed very soon....reason why I couldnt take pictures is that the machine is behind another one and I am waiting for my friend to help me move since I have back problems.

Now this is MY machine and it's ME that sells it.....when you guys sell machines I have NEVER made one single comment.

And this is the only one of my 27 machines I will sell and the reason why I am selling it is that it will allow me to buy a more expensive (more recent) machine which I dont have enough money to buy right now.

As for Mr Pinball price its just an indication for the people who ARE NOT in the hobby but want to iwn this particular machine.

ALSO I listed it on a 10 cent day just to see if people are interested.

Happy with me justifying myself everybody?

I don't mean to rain on your parade here....

When you purchase a machine from an on-line classified for a good price (which every real pinball collector watches every day), gloat about it here, then you list it on Epay for 3x what you paid (price guide or not), you'd better have some pretty big shoulders!!!    I mean let's be realistic here... There was no way you were going to get away from that without SOME flack. (especially seeing this particular game sticks out like a homing beacon)

Don't try to hang your lack of good judgement on Cooke just because he had the stones to call you on it.

And unfortunately for you this is a PUBLIC forum, along with the on-line classifieds, so it's not like he was posting anything "TOP SECRET"....  The reason members like Cooke point this stuff out (and others in the past) is so fellow members of our community don't get totally screwed over, especially when the original price of the game is inflated by such a large margin.

I think the point is, is that clearly you are committing fraud.  How could anything you do be taken seriously, when not only do you steal someone elses pictures, but then admit to it.  Did you warn the people in the auction that

"The pictures are ones I stole from somewhere else, because I can't get to the machine right now, but wanted to make 10 cent listing day"

So - brought to your attention?  That you didn't knowingly steal them?

No.  Its one thing to justify to us, who will use this as character reference, its another to the people bidding on the auction.

Actually, if you check the wealth of knowledge that cooke has, you will see that he contributes to the community a hell of alot more then you.

There are mods.  Many of them.  YOU posted on a public forum.  That invites people to comment on it.  What right do you think you have to not be questioned. As you have already shown your moral character, how can you not expect this to happen.  If someone is interested in the auction, and were to bid on it, its nice to know that someone is looking out for them.  To get the truth behind the machine.   (and, now, the truth behind the man).
