The list is long, so many....

Pinball:

Williams Firepower, Gottlieb Haunted House, Bally Silverball Mania, Williams High Speed, Pinbot, Getaway, Whitewater, Bally TZ, DE Tales From The Crypt... so many!! Basically, if you have a pin for sale, tell me, and I'll see if I like...

Vids:

Although I am building a MAME cab, there are some I'd like to own...
Wizard of Wor cocktail (was raised on that one, sentimental), Ms.Pacman, D.O.T. environmental (sorry Steph...), Splatterhouse (loved that game!), Defender, maybe an Ultracade, Turbo (might pick one up for 100$), Sprint4, Badlands or Demolition Derby (one that a gang can play), Black Widow, Smash TV... basically any old school games... the ones that just keep getting harder and harder, not a story-line based game...

Well I have two pinballs on your list.  Not for sale, but you can play them when you come by for a visit next month.

Chexx would be nice.  I still don't understand why they are so expensive?  It is a glorified Canadian Tire game with a dome, coin mech, scoreboard and sound.

Monkeybug: I just didn't hear that (Chexx)...

I've had a Chexx game and I can guarantee you that it is often imitated, but NEVER duplicated.

Don't go for a cheap one!!!

Yes they are expensive, but I got one CHEAP...but then got an offer I couldn't refuse and traded it away.

I miss my Chexx, but then again, there's only ONE "issue" with a Chexx bubble hockey game:

- You need a second player...

P.S.: I miss you...

No, what I meant was the for something that is not as complicated as a pinball, they command a lot of money.  They are no more complicated than a videogame and most videogames go for a lot less than a Chexx.

I figure it has something to do with the law of supply and demand.

There's quite a bit of work in building a Chexx...

These things can take a BEATING and then some...

The top 3 things to check when you're purchasing a used Chexx:

1) THE BUBBLE!!!
 - If it's cracked, RUN AWAY!!!

2) Test ALL the RODS...
 - With a quick wrist twist, verify if the player follows your wrist...if not, then you need to buy new gears...costly gears...OR you'll need to buy players OR both

3) SCOREBOARD + MOTHERBOARD & PLAYERS
 - a non-working scoreboard can be a pain (and/or pricey) to replace...
 - a faulty motherboard will may make the game unplayable, until you replace the board ($$$)
 - A player replacement costs about $20US...chekc the shaft to ensure its rigidity (if you can)

Good tips.  I am keeping my eyes open for a "deal" but I really have no idea what to look for.

Why?  The bubble costs $1k to replace?
