I'm at Fermont , Quebec  (in the north of Quebec, 53rd parallel) on vacation.
I took these really nice pics of the scenery here...
There are also 3 pics of the small town, we are 565 km up north from Baie-Comeau. We had 375 km of dirt roads to travel to get here....
Enjoy.....
Claude.

Hey Claude,

I grew up in that area (Labrador City to be more precise). Drank many beers at "la Braz". I have driven that route many times (mainly in the summer though). What made you travel there for a holiday (family)? It is a great area for enjoying winter that is for sure. Enjoy your Northern vacation!

Tom.

Thanks Tom.
I was here 2 years about 18 years ago.
My mother lives here, she's been here for 20 years.
When I lived here, I worked at la Braz doing cleaning after working hours and cooking in the kitchen during the day.
Really nice place in winter, and summer also, lots of blueberries, and, mosquitoes....
Summer heat lasts only 2 weeks....
Claude.

Non, en Celsius, Ca fait -45 sans les vents, donc, plus les vents de 100 km heurs, ca faisait -90 , croit moi il failait pas mettre le nez dehors plus que 2 ou 3 minutes pour avoir des engelures....
