I'm not sure if it's possible, but maybe the solution to the Classified Ads debate is to allow the OP's to lock their own posts..  I mean really, the only thing that needs to be in there is the machine that is for sale.  Any questions/concerns can be addressed via PM

I've been watching the circus and must interject;

No one was commenting on my pinball machine or my sales history.  They were attacking me and the way I going about posting my adds.  They forgot to mention all the leads I posted, the positive comments I have made to people, and support lent where possible.  Perhaps it would be easier just to say "Batman Forever - for sale"  and not give you any background... unfortunately that is not my personality.

It was those chichen mess fucks who needed to attack me on this board by picking away at my personality.  I have never done business with these people, yet they feel the need to comment on me.  Sounds like what is happening with those tards down south on CNN - everyone's got an opinion.

Listen, if you have a problem with me, come up to me next time you see me (you know who you are).  Tell me what you think, and deal with how I resolve your comments!

This bored is for everyone as Sparky said.  everyone is a collective diverse term.  Not a term used for only those you like!  that would be a "Cleak", just like in high school.  Perhaps something to think about.

I wasn't going to comment on this thread but that's just not in my nature.  I prefer in this case(and this is the only time I will do this), not to make any comments or pass any judgements on any of the statements that have been made in this thread(must be getting soft in my old age).

All I want to say is that ANYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, here should know that a picture is worth 1000 words.  I just can't understand why so many (and there are very many)'for sale' or 'interest check' posts are made without pictures.  What's the problem ???  One minute you want to keep it and then on a lark you decide to sell it and can't take 5 minutes to snap off 8-10 pics and let the pictures do the talking.  I think if you don't post pictures you might as well advertise it in the Pennysaver.  You know people will want to see every square inch and want to see the closeups of any 'bad' spots.  There are dozens of free web picture hosting sites or you can directly upload them as part of your thread.  If you don't know how, ASK!!!  What's the first response a person gets when they post ...

I agree with posting pictures.  I was in the middle of uploading when I saw the attacks on me.  Inyourface2, inyourface3, Menace, cooke, etc...  Decided to not sell the machine at that point.  But I have in the past posted a sale prior to pictures - so yes, point taken and I agree.

FYI: Know one ever asked me if I was "inyourface" - didn't know I was the only one and there was a rule about it?, I infact am "inyourface" the original, but as you can tell from my very few posts (go ahead cheack them out and see how many) probably only 3-4 at the most? long time ago, (look how many posts I do with tglover!!) I don't use the inyourface account since it was made very early on when I first joined. (wasn't sure if I wanted TGLOVER as my name, but I said, naw, I can post my real name, these guys seam like a good buch. (and for the most part you all are - it's only the few)  I am not inyourface2, inyourface3, etc, etc..  Speaky is you like, feel free to delete "inyourface" since I don't use it anyway.

and if anyone can prove that I do use it, that I'm anyone other then Tglover or inyourface, please put your money where your mouth is.... oh yeah, perhaps "you" others with multiple alias's can also step forward - the one's that actually post with them.  OR IS IT JUST ME???? with my second account that I don't use and was set up shortly after I joined Maaca.   Yeah, thought so.  Stones and houses????

I'm not sure why you're singling me out... I never attacked you at all. I did poke fun at your arbitrary ranking system -- that's hardly an attack and if you can't see the joke, I apologize for offending you. (seriously)

Having said that, however, I'm not much of a fan of your tactics in the hobby. I think it probably harkens back to when you were spamming many of the people on the Ontario Mr. Pinball collector registry. There are also a number of things you've done and said here on maaca that I've taken issue with and for the most part, I've kept my mouth shut. There's really not much point in going into details, but suffice it to say that I think a lot of the hassle you get here on the forum is pretty much justified. Just remember that this is a small community and it's better to make friends and to be honest than not to.

In conclusion, good luck with your sale and try to ease up on the profanity. It makes me want to PM Sparky.   And don't ever change -- it's good entertainment.
