Thought i would let you all know, the pinball lifter i bought at Cosco a few months ago when MrHide mentionned it is now beeing sold for 99$.... 30$ cheaper than it was back then.

It can raise 600 pounds, more than enough to raise and move any pinball machines.

At 99$... i doubt it can be beat.

There is one on highway 40 Gregory... When you enter the island of Montreal, there is one on the north side of the 40 (westbound side) right after the Boul.St-Jean exit ... actually is between St-Jean and Boul.Des Sources.

I work right beside it... but I only go there for the cheap hotdogs. They are good and close by from work. But, I think you need a membership to shop there or something like that...

Retiring soon...

Hydraulic table lift and mobile truck

It is made by CHAMPION

I cant find it on the site either at all... maybe it is store specific, i know costco does that a lot while all the stores wont have the same articles. Seen them in Anjou anyway, if you're looking to buy one, that store still had at least 7 or 8 yesterday.

Oh and bring a helper with you if you can, they weight 150 pounds boxed, not that easy to handle alone, i did it alone but would have liked a bit of help

I just bought one of these puppies last week.

I don't move pins all that much, but for $99, you  can't go wrong.

It works great,  but the only drawback is that is smells like railway ties..
(...you know that creosote smell ?).  Don't know if it's the hydraulics
or the lubricants, by I have to keep it in the garage when not using it.

Hey Gory, since you seem to traval to Ottawa alot,
I can pick one up for you and have you pick it up next time you're in town.

(...same deal for anyone else I guess...)

Cheers,
Steph

I might be wrong but i think the smell comes from the rubber top... just keep the rubber top in the garage and pick it up when you need it.

At least its what i did...

Yep, it's the rubber top. I figured it would lose it's smell after a week. Well, I have owned it since the original post (I'm one of the silly buggers that thought it was a deal at the old price and it still smells. Like Sylvain, I leave mine in the garage when not using it.

For those who bought one in the Ottawa/Gatineau reagion:

    - Which Costco did you get it at?

So, in case it is a store specific item as suggested by an earlier post, I do not have to visit more than one location.

Thanks
