In the end, if you own the game, YOU decide what to do with it. Nothing wrong with rubber bands in the outlanes if that is the way you want it. I personally wouldn't let no one tell me otherwise. Preference cannot be debated.

I'm gonna try those extended lane guides .....If the game becomes too easy i'll simply take them off, it 's not like i'm gonna drill holes in the playfield!! dam cannons make it hard to see the ball and nudge it!
had a few bugs on my machine but nothing major, somethimes id loose my ball on my second lock ,thaught it was an opto but no it was the Ball through that had "ball wear". the last ball would'n move into position to be kiked out! simple problem and a simple solution.I took it out and filed open the V grove untill it wokrd perfecly in the vise.I could of replaced it but it only took about 15 minuits to do the work.now the machine works flawlessly!  , Dam out lanes!

There is a Great fix for this problem, Visit http://www.PinBallWizzard.com  he has designed a great little "sleeve" that slides in the trough and makes it work perfectly. Installs in literally 10 seconds!  http://www.pinballwizzard.com/parts/trsleeve.htm

Very nice little part.

Dave

You should buy the Great Lakes Modular Trough boards, that is all I ended up needing to fix my problem.  the trough optos seemed to work fine, but I would still end up with balls being fed in sometimes and other times it would just lose track all togethor.  since putting in the new boards haven't had a single problem.

I second that.  Same issues...lots of multiballs that shouldn't have been....Great Lakes Modular boards fixed all those problems, and Tony is really wonderful to deal with.

Already done .. also the ball trough was inspected and divots removed by two other members already in case that was your next question
