I called Canada Border Services before going and asked how they tax me on a private sale. The lady asked how I found the item and I said Craig's List so she suggested printing the post to go with my reciept. I paid tax on $500 for my "Non working Project" TZ

Yeah, my farthest was when I was living in Fenelon Falls there for a bit, drove to Vermont to get my HS. Was worth every single mile. I had a trip to Tennessee to pick up a super nice STTNG for a trade deal. Had the truck rented, hotel booked, everything organized, and cancelled the trip last minute due to a really bad...or good, depending on how you look at it...hunch. Looking back, there was a massive snowstorm the next day, disabling the entire east coast of the USA...so my hunch was right on the money.
