Just to add to the warehopuse discussion, the cheapest I found in my area was a 1200sq.ft barn not heated at 350$ a month. Any good storage areas are not under 900$ a month. The cheapest warehouse I found at a decent size (+1000 sq.ft) was 150000$.
Unless you know a friend of a friend that has a warehouse he doesn't use and we simply pay utilities, it isn't going to happen.

Killjoy ....
Although I admit the odds of this happening are about the same as me finding another Joust pin for $600 (...and gettting there first ! ) ;-p , but I'm sure commercial space can probably be found cheaper with a bit or research... ( something outside the city limits...)
But it's probably all for naught.. I think I have a far better chance of building my [pipe-dream] under-ground arcade before I buy a warehouse...
That, or I quit my job to pursue my dream of becoming an arcade operator (...not ! )

Hey... now THERE is a great idea for a theme for an arcade today... make it look like it is LITERALLY underground, as if the games were dead and buried. Fake stone and dirt walls, dim lighting, and a tombstone above each game with it's name on it... HERE LIES DEFENDER, 1981.

Well, my idea actually "was" to have it underground...
My house is built on mild slope so the front has 2 floors above ground, whereas the back only has one above-ground level . So the front of my garage is fully accessible but the back is actually below ground.
My grand [crazy] plan would be to excavate a bunker-type room behind the garage and build an true under-ground arcade. I would have enough space for a 25' x 25' room, with direct access to the garage and it would completely sound proof.
I actually went as far a getting a prelimary estimate for the work, and was told it would be between $30K-50K.
So I figure I only need to sell about 10,000 eproms and I'm there !
If ever you do decide to build a MAACA-Crypt, let me know...I am willing to donate a few games. But then again, always hoping to win the lottery, I would build an arcade/warehouse/shop just for the hell of it. Something about twice the size of Alouette's place in Montreal, for those who have been there. Big open floorplan, huge warehouse to store projects/parts/working games, and a nice fully stocked shop with all the test benches and equipment needed. Ahhh, dreams...
