I fanally got around to making my lighted poster box for my game room,took a few pics to share with you all.Sheet metal (#24 gauge)was used for the fabrication.After a small sketch was made the sheet metal was cut on the shear to size .the sides were then folded up (pic 1).and then the two other sides were folded using an eight foot brake(pic. 2)

after all parts were braked,the two sides were attached using the spot welder,nice clean job!
took about 2 minuits to spot weld the sides (pic. 3) all that was left were the 4 small  "L" moldings to hold the backglass in place.well its off to paint were the inside will be painted white and silver for the outside.will update when something in the shop gets painted silver!

when the box came back from paint it was hard to believe it was made out of "recycled steel".A F20 light stick was fixed in the box ,a quick and cheap solution to light up this poster box,a small piece of foam tape was added to the sides to protect the backglass paint. A piece of translucent white plexiglass was cut and covered with a prinout of PARAGON.a piece  1/8 glass covered the prinout and plexy.I'll have to get some scores printed out    and placed over the score boxes!

That is SWEET! Nice choice of backglass as well. I love the backglasses from the 70s and early 80s.

it might be the same picture phil ,got mine from http://tuukan.fliput.net/bglass_en.html. but i must say Thank you,Thank you for your hi res backglass webpage.I used the nip-it you had(with a little re-work) for my own game.those bg seem to be pretty hard to find!
posted a picture of the game,hum....I think i forgot to cut out the credit window!!??well..on free play.. not needed.
