Try swapping a DMD from another machine first. Only 2 or 3 connectors. If it is the DMD, MAD Amusements or Pinballlife are reasonable. Otherwise check connectors.

If it's totally blank, time to start looking at the power section of the driver board. Also check the ribbon cable to the board. Not sure of voltage into display (it's high), lastly would be signal from board to DMD.

That's an A/V board in MM and it's usually top side of $400 USD for one.

If I were you I would send it to Clive at Coin-Op cauldron and no one else. It has surface mount devices and the ASIC and audio chip are a b**** to replace without the correct equipment. If it's the HV section that's gone you can fix that. I have, but you better have balls of steel when playing with that board as the replacement is pricey and not readily found.

Start by checking voltages for the HV section but better yet, don't f with it and send it to Clive.

Clive as do many places had the ASIC and the ADSP for that board. The rest of the chips are generic. Fortunately the ASIC has been re-run and the ADSP was common as it was used in Mortal Kombat as well.

Upshot is it should be repairable.
