I hate the "B"-grade music and voice in the Whitewater.

I like, however, the sounds (music and voices) in Gorgar, Xenon, Centaur and BSD!!!

Hey!! Duane, do you **STILL** enjoy the back sound of Dr.Who? Mouhahahaha!!!

Couldn't agree more. The music is totally awesome. Almost makes up for the crap gameplay. Almost, but not quite.

Whitewater, on the other hand, terrible music, awesome game play. Love that game.

Absolutely the #1 most hated sound bits for me is Fish Tales music.  I can't get through one game and I want to turn it off.

It's funny how different people's tastes are, but it roughly corresponds to the decades in which you were born or played at arcades.

I hated Fish Tales music at first, figured it was going to be a quick turn around game, but I've said this on the board before, we all now tap our toes to it as we play - fits well with the theme.  I would likely say the same for Whitewater.

See I bought BK2000 because I loved the sound track and the pace at which it pushes you to play the game - but then give me ANY kitchy 80's music.  

Xenon is another winner. Stargate (unique).  ST:TNG (I always liked the theme music and battle music). HSII.

Overall I am romantically attracted to EM chimes though, even though the games are some times ho hum, I can't get enough of the chimes (brings back so many memories).

RE: Dr. Who - "Exterminate" is supposed to be annoying.  

Firepower did the early synth sounds really well (then every Williams machine after was a slight variation) - but most pins of that very early non-sampled era I find annoyingly "video game" quality. (I was never a vid guy).

I own a Whitewater but the music doesn't bother me one bit there.  Something about FT that drives me up the wall.

Ya, WH20's sounds and music was fine. It didn't knock my socks off, but was fun. The only annoying sound was the chirp when the ball shot out of the VUK to the upper playfield, THAT got on my nerves.

Guess I'm a redneck, I recall liking the music. I felt it fit the theme. Just checked the promo video and I still like the music. Fits the theme perfectly.
